I have had a long-standing love/hate relationship with television. I am a sucker for a cheesy storyline and the adrenaline rush of all the WTF moments. But I watch way too much. It's a habit I should really break, but I haven't quite gotten that far.
In bittersweet news, there are a few shows that may be approaching their end game (though I'll have to wait and see). Now that Patrick Dempsey has left Grey's Anatomy and Nina Dobrev is on her way out of The Vampire Diaries, I'm not entirely sure how these shows are going to progress.
However, they're only 2 shows. Sadly I have another 10 or so lined up.
Hehe O:)

Wedding Update: 6 months to go!
Here's the rundown:
Church: booked. Luke and I have attended an engaged couples retreat and worked with an older couple to take our "compatibility" test. Which we passed with flying colors.
Venue: booked. We met with the planner and have finalized dinner. Beef tenderloin tips and broasted chicken with mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, salad, and dinner rolls. Luke's parents are in charge of the beer.
Photographer: booked. Haven't had much contact with him since the beginning. But we do think we're going to Smith Park for pictures.
DJ: booked. Ed keeps in touch with me via email every month or so, having me think about music options for every aspect of the night.
Dress: bought. Bridesmaids dresses also. I'm constantly doubting myself but I'm also very excited.
Bridesmaids: awesome. They've been helping me plan the finer details and are offering up their own homes for me to host my events at. Absolutely fabulous human beings. I love them dearly.
Florist: booked. I met with Michelle a couple weeks back and loved the small-business feel of her and the personal touches she claims to be putting into my bouquets. She's a touch on the pricier side and I went through a whole ordeal in my head about affording this wedding only to come out the other side saying, meh, I only get married once.
Cake: we're going tasting tomorrow! I hope all goes well.
I'm battling a cold right now so once I'm feeling up to it again, I'm going to start to work on some finer details. The guest list is just about finalized, invitations are decided, just need to be ordered, and favors will be taken care of this summer. Everything seems to be right where it should, and despite feeling nauseous about it all on a regular basis, the day is quickly approaching :)

Book Review: Wishes series by G.J. Walker-Smith
I am completely in love.
I had gotten into this rut where I was reading smutty romance nonstop. I genuinely wished for something that was more unique, written better, and had a realistic plot that didn't involve one glance and suddenly the girl was in love. I wanted depth, simplicity, and preferably something without graphic sex scenes.
I absolutely 1000% found it.
These books are so sweet and tear-jerking and just wonderful, I can hardly stand it.
Five stars no doubt.
Book 1: Saving Wishes
Book 2: Second Hearts
Book 3: Storm Shells
And there are actually companion books and a 4th book in the storyline out there. I just have to track them all down.
